Can I rent my property to a foreigner using Rendin?

  • Updated

Yes, you can. For us, the origin of the tenant doesn't matter, and the rental process is similar anyway. Although there are some nuances that the landlord should know, so read more here.

The tenant must have an Estonian ID number so we can check their previous payment behavior. If the tenant's Estonian ID has been issued very recently, it is not possible to perform a background check as their previous history is missing/unknown. In such a case we ask the person for additional information, such as an employment contract or bank statements. Our goal is to make sure that the tenant's income and the amount of the monthly rental are in balance.
